We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things, the source of love, and the one who desires a relationship with every person.
We believe God's love is made most fully known in Jesus Christ who came to reconcile the world to God. We trust that God is always at work - redeeming, restoring, and drawing all people toward grace.
HOPE
We believe in the promise of eternal life and the restoration of all creation through God's love revealed in Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection we are offered forgiveness, new life, and the hope of a redeemed future. This faith is not passive - it transforms the way we live. As followers of Christ we respond to God's grace through acts of compassion, justice, and mercy, and service bearing witness to a living faith made visible through good works.
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine. Through his life, death, and resurrection, God offers salvation, forgiveness, and new life to the world.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active in the world today, guiding, comforting, and empowering believers to live faithful and transformed lives.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the primary authority for faith and practice. It tells the story of God’s love and redemption and serves as the foundation for Christian living.
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, available to all people. We respond to this grace through faith in Jesus Christ. God’s grace works in our lives before we are aware of it, brings us into relationship with Christ, and continues to shape us into who God calls us to be.
We emphasize three ways God’s grace is at work:
Prevenient Grace: God’s love that goes before us, drawing us toward Him.
Justifying Grace: God’s forgiveness and acceptance through Jesus Christ.
Sanctifying Grace: God’s ongoing work in our lives, making us more like Christ.
Our vision is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation and new church formation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation.
We celebrate two sacraments:
Baptism – the sign of new life and belonging to God’s family
Holy Communion – a means of grace where we encounter Christ and are nourished in faith
We believe faith is lived out in action. United Methodists are called to love God and neighbor, seek justice, show mercy, and serve others in daily life.
