Welcome to Our Church Family

A place where faith grows and community thrives.

As a group of God’s people, we care deeply about you and your family. Our mission is simple: to love God and to love our neighbors through genuine relationships, compassionate service, and shared faith. Whether you are new to the area, exploring faith for the first time, or seeking a church home, we want you to know—you belong here.

Growing Together in Faith

We are a community committed to spiritual growth and transformation. Through worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship, we walk alongside one another on the journey of discipleship. No one walks alone. Together, we celebrate life’s joys, carry one another’s burdens, and discover how God is at work in our midst.

A Community That Serves

Our congregation is filled with servant hearts and joyful givers. We believe faith comes alive when it is put into action—through helping our neighbors, supporting missions, and caring for one another in practical ways. Every act of kindness, big or small, is a reflection of Christ’s love shining through His people.

You Have a Place Here

We want to know you, welcome your family, and share life together. There’s a seat waiting for you on Sunday mornings, a group ready to pray with you, and a community eager to serve alongside you.

Come as you are, and discover a place where faith feels like home.

Sanctuary Worship- Sundays at 10:15 am

Traditional Worship at Magnolia First United Methodist Church

A sacred rhythm of praise, prayer, and presence.

Our Sunday morning worship service follows the familiar order of worship found in most traditional United Methodist congregations and is held in our beautiful sanctuary. This service offers a space where heart, mind, and spirit meet the timeless traditions of Christian faith.

    Worship through Music

Music is central to our worship life. Most Sundays, the Chancel Choir, accompanied by the pipe organ or piano, leads the congregation in hymns that echo through the sanctuary. On special occasions, the service features offerings of handbells, chimes, soloists, and instrumental ensembles—each adding their own beauty to our collective praise.

Our music ministry is intentionally intergenerational, drawing participation from all ages and gifts, uniting the congregation in a shared song of faith.

    Cherishing Our Sacred Space

In our traditional service, we embrace the elements that make our worship both reverent and familiar:

    • Pews and pulpits that anchor our gathering in continuity and community.

    • Choir lofts and robes that honor the long-standing traditions of worship leadership.

    • Daylight streaming through the shutters in the shape of the cross, a reminder of Christ’s enduring light.

    • The sound of the pipe organ and piano, filling the sanctuary with timeless resonance and grace.

These details—sights, sounds, and symbols—create the texture and taste of traditional worship, inviting us to encounter the holy in both beauty and order.

    A Spirit-Filled Experience

Worship at Magnolia FUMC is not simply a ritual; it is a living encounter with the presence of God. Voices rise together in hymns of praise, Scripture is proclaimed, and the Good News is preached with conviction and care. Together, we celebrate the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, the outward signs of God’s inward grace.

Though some aspects of worship have evolved since the global pandemic, our commitment to energetic, uplifting, and Spirit-filled worship remains steadfast. Each Sunday, we gather not just to remember tradition, but to renew our faith and deepen our connection to God and one another.

Come and join us for a worship experience that honors the best of our Methodist heritage while opening hearts to the living presence of Christ today.
