At First United Methodist Church, there are many opportunities for all people to lead in worship through music. Scroll down below to see our many different music ensembles.
Each Sunday, our Chancel Choir leads in our 10:45 service through a Choral Call to worship, and anthem, and helping to lead with the hymns. They also prepare a Christmas and Easter Cantata.
Our Chancel choir is for our adults as well as our 10th-12th graders. They practice on Wednesdays at 7:15 PM in the Sanctuary.

We have an Adult handbell choir that leads in our 10:45 worship service. They practice on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the Handbell Room.

Our three children's choirs will lead in worship with either a Choral Call to Worship or a Special Music. We have two Children's Choir.
Jesus and Music or JAM is for our Preschoolers. Grace Notes is for our Kindergarteners through 2nd Graders. Joyful Singers is for our 3rd-6th graders. Both choirs practice at 5:00 on Wednesdays Nights.

Every other month, our Youth Handbell choir will lead in worship.
Our Youth Handbells is for all of our youth and practices on Sundays at 5:00 PM in the Handbells Room.

Our Youth Praise Band helps to lead in Youth Worship, every Sunday evening and in our 10:45 Service on Youth Sundays Our Praise Band helps to lead the hymns and special music. The Band is made up of all instruments and singers and is for all youth.
Praise Band practices on Sundays at 4:15 PM in the Youth Basement.
